Aerial Sculpture
Art in Public Spaces project for the
Connecticut Commission for the Arts
Norwalk Community Technical College
Norwalk, CT
Mind Games is approximately 30’h x 200’w x
300’d and is constructed of stainless steel, translucent fabric, with
accents of car detailing tape. The
work soars through a three story atrium space that is the main circulation
area for the College. The
triangular forms have two layers of translucent fabrics of different
colors giving the forms an opalescent glow and more sparkle. The play of forms and linear elements
suggest a large musical
instrument and the use of numbers for discoveries in science and art.
