Oceanside Civic Center, Oceanside, CA
Sky Flower, 14’h 14’w 14’d of stainless steel,
cable, and translucent fabric is a work that compliments the design of the
ceiling in the council chambers of the Oceanside Civic Center.
After design of the space it was revealed that an arm containing a
video camera would be suspended from the center of the ceiling for
broadcasting the proceedings at the lectern.
Wulke was commissioned to integrate the video arm into the space
with art.
