Passage to the Gracious
2002
As seen on House and Garden Network in April 2002
A
collaboration with Siglinda Scarpa in Pittsborough, North Carolina
A
glass wall over 40 feet long with etched images of classical
architectural forms from Italy and Greece offers framed entries and
views into Scarpa’s gardens.
The gardens gave an ideal backdrop to a sundial
of glass columns, a gnomon appearing as a figure reaching for the light
and each hour marker is like a gnome.
Each hour marker corresponds in weight to its hour.
